Drive yourself South on Indian Rocks Road from West Bay Drive and you will find yourself winding your way through Largo. On the right you will first pass Harbor Bluffs, the slightly grander version of Harbor Hills. A couple more streets down and you will see High Bluff Drive, the first turn into the Harbor Hills subdivision. Immediately you will notice that its name doesn’t lie, the area really is quite hilly for Florida. This allows many homes the advantage of being relatively close to the water without requiring flood insurance, however there are also many gorgeous waterfront homes. The homes are almost all one-story block homes, set back from the street a nice distance, without about the same amount of yard behind the home. It is a well established neighborhood, developed in the 50s and 60s, so there exists a certain charm and character to the surroundings, accented of course by mature trees and landscaping. The homes range in size from about 1200 to 2500 square feet, and tend to average 2 to 3 bedrooms, and while most are exquisitely maintained and recently updated, you can still find homes in need of updating and a little TLC sprinkled here and there.
