Mike was born in Boston and raised in upstate New York until his last year of high school. He moved to Tennessee where he finished high school at Bearden High in Knoxville. Later he attended the University of Tennessee and East Tennessee State University where he graduated with a BS degree in Business Management. After college Mike volunteered for the Peace Corps and spent two years in Swaziland Africa as a small business consultant to the local tradesmen. Returning to the United States, Mike lived in North Carolina where he pursued a career in resort management and ski school operations at Ski Beech NC. Mike moved to Palm Harbor, Florida in the late 1980’s. He maintained a career as a manufacturer’s representative for Bauer Nike Hockey and as a territory manager for Nike’s inline roller hockey and ice skating division for the state of Florida. In 2003 Mike chose to make a career change and acquired his real estate license.
